Woek email address

I have a gmail account for my job. I cannot go to my boss and tell him I am going to change my email (gmail) and I cannot tell my customers that either.
They need to keep contact with me with the gmail address, unfortunately.

I already took the training where you can create a domain an link it to the proton mail. But that is not what I need.
How can my customers can keep using my gmail address, but without me having to enter into gmail? and receive them in one of my proton email address?
And if that is possible, then, can I repond to theri emial within my protonmail but they willl keep seing my gmal adress in the reply?
