Various Protonmail accounts and Anonaddy

Hi,

Do i understand correctly, that only one of the Protonmail accounts is linked to Anonaddy, which is the one for newsletters?

Which means we give out the other Protonmail addresses directly?

For clarity, what are some examples of when you would use alias vs. generic Protonmail address?
