Sports Teams and other groups who use apps?

I kicked Facebook Messenger to the curb years ago, and have been using Telegram for messaging since then. Most folks have been willing and it has been awesome. I’ve even gotten a couple local gropus to switch. Yay! The big problem? Sports Teams. My kids play sports, and each team has it’s own app that it prefers. So, I have WhatsApp and TeamSnap on my phone, because that is the only way teams in my part of the world seem to communicate. What suggestions do you have for sports teams? Are there more private and secure sports teams apps? (Neither Telegram nor Signal seem to have many of the scheduling and volunteer signup aspects that are used heavily by the teams, so switching to those hasn’t been well received.)

I do not like having all the different apps, nor the specific ones they are using, but I also do not want to deny my kids the chance to participate just because I won’t use the communication device… (That seems extreme, but maybe it’s not?)
