I have had an up and downer with Proton Mail, I upgraded to Mail Plus, then I thought I had to unsubscribe (stupidly) to the unpaid version. Which I did, but somehow I ended up unsubscribing from the Mail Plus, I got an email from Proton asking if I really wanted to unsubscribe and I said I did from the free mail because I had subscribed to the paid version. I have had numerous emails with them and they won’t put me back on the plan I was on unless I pay the full price. I had a special offer before, which my husband wasn’t happy with so there’s no way he’ll let me pay full price.
So any recommendations for another company that offer similar to Proton mail? I know I have to take responsibility, it was my error because I have no clue what I am doing half the time but I keep trying.January 20, 2023 at 8:24 pm #16919JGHi M1ch3lle. I am sorry to hear about your experience. I am not totally sure what you are asking. If you are asking about another free email service like Proton then Tutanota is similar in privacy and provides 1GB in storage (same as Proton free). Tutanota also has a paid version but Proton is the better deal. They are both $4/month but Proton gives you more storage. Tutanota has a $1/month version but you don’t get more storage vs. their free version so unless you want to donate $12, I am not sure it is worth your money. If you want to go back to the paid Proton version it will be on sale next Black Friday ( I am not sure if they have other periodic sales). There is probably other services out there but I am not familiar with them. I hope this helps answer your question.
P.S. I think it is awesome you keep trying even though you aren’t always sure of what to do. 🙂

So I have continued with them for now. Who knows what will happen next year. I will keep Tutanota as a back up. Thank you for your comment, it’s not a word I would use on myself ha ha, however I have enrolled and I’m going to finish, even if it takes me a long time. Thank you for making me smile! 🙂
