After following Glenn’s directions on how to sign up / register on anondaddy.com, using my brave browser app to do so, I run into a snag….
I enter all the info requested as I am walked through the initial setup: (unique user name, unique password, etc, and then the “real person code”… (i have done this several times). Consistently I get “notified” by anondaddy that “”the text entered was incorrect, please try again”, (I noticed that even Glenn, in his step by step directions receives this notification as well). My question is: what, if anything, am I doing “wrong”? Anondaddy does not send a verification email to my entered email account…. Has anyone else run into this problem? I did send an email detailing this snag to “info@privacyactionplan” ‘s website, and received a response directing me to this forum, or to “wait until the next “Monthly Q&A webinar”, or to pay for “one-on-one consultations”….
This is frustrating.
Thank you for response related to my question.March 18, 2023 at 12:34 pm #19443Doris1) I believe you are talking about the “Personal Access Code” you need to enter when AnonAddy asks for it when installing the “AnonAddy extension” to your browser. But this process takes place AFTER you have signed up for AnonAddy.
2) It is important though to use a REAL email address when you initially register for AnonAddy. There is a field where you are asked to fill out the “Human Verification Code”, and you just type what you see on your screen in that field. These can be tricky. Pay attention to CAPS, don’t confuse letters like q for the number 9, etc. Type EXACTLY what you see. Then make sure to check the box “I accept the terms and privacy policy” before you hit the “Register” button. After that AnonAddy will send you 2 emails, one to verify your email address and one to confirm your payment.I hope this helps.
