How do you use Anonaddy with Protonmail?

I signed up for Anonaddy and used an alias to request information from a company. They replied but I can’t reply using the anonaddy address through Protonmail as it tell me the path is unrecognized. I went to the Anonaddy site but couldn’t find anything useful: it says I can send and reply but I had to go back to the original contact form to reply.
