Hello Glenn,
Some time ago we stopped watching TV. We don’t have cable and don’t miss entertainment news or sitcoms. We used to rent movies from Red Box and watched them on our Smart TV, but it’s been over 5 years that we stopped watching movies; never streamed Netflix as we don’t agree with their politics.
We really like to listen to music, and years ago we played Pandora or used the music channels on that Smart TV. I miss our Logitech Squeezebox but they went digital; then Amazon rushed their Echo and Alexa pods, so we got an Echo for our Amazon music – we found out these devices were listening in on us. Aargh! So we removed them from our life. Haven’t looked back. No more Facebook either; I must go in and remove my photos. We removed our “extraneous” apps from our Apple phones; there’s a realization that there’s really no need to keep so much stuff on the smartphone when not used. Just like following the decluttering folks’ rules. Being better organized and keeping clutter off the home and phone makes for a lighter feeling. Have a good day!
